New SD Card *Showing Off*

Can I show off with my 10TB of One Drive storage? Haha

Very nice. When 128gb cards hit $40, I'm in. My 64gb will hold me for now.

Enjoy!

The packrat in me approves. However, 32GB in phone + 64 GB on card seems to be sufficient for me as I haven't felt the need to get a bigger card for a few years now.

That said, I must say (and I know this is antithesis to all of us that still gravitate towards phones with mSD slots) after getting one of these to make it easier to stream videos to an Amazon Fire Stick or the kids' tablets when on trips, it is nice to have the option to pop an SD or USB thumb drive in/out and access it wirelessly. I thought that until I had a child. I went from 60gb free to 30 in about 11 months.

TBH, £140 is a LOT for an SD card the size of a finger nail, but I'm off to a wedding in Spain this weekend, and will probably chew through an hour or two of video, loads of photos and what not. Nice to be able to just go for it with checking how much space I've got left. Got 7000+ songs on there too.

If LG ditch SD support next time around, I'm stuffed:mad:...

Wait a min.....how the hell do you have 183gb total?!?! I have a 128gb card and it says 119gb total. Which SD card do you have??

Yeah, LG has my business as long as they keep sd support.

The beauty of the all my cloud storage is redundancy and the ability to clean out my sd card if needed.

I'm not really close to maxing out my current card so that's the only reason I'm holding. There have been multiple deals on 128 cards at the $60 price and I have been very tempted. I'm thinking they will hit $40 around black Friday and then I'll pick one up.

Yep, Just recently there was a Sandisk clocked at 80mb/s and a couple of days later, a PNY clocked at 60mb/s, both priced at $60. I was very tempted, but having 64GB cards in all my devices, and a couple more laying around, I just couldn't justify it. I do think we'll see $40 this year, and at that point, I won't be able to resist any longer.

Yep, I feel like this one being a pre-order at $59.99 is very encouraging.

£50 on ebay. Can't post links quite yet, so a search for "UK Direct Sandisk 128G Ultra Micro SD SDXC SDHC 128G 128GB UHS Class 10 48MB"

It'll be a bit tight on your wedding trip though.

Haha. Cheers, but the £140 I've already paid was for the 200gb. The 128 was filling up.
