New Skin for the forums - your feedback essential!

Not seeing any changes. No new fonts, sizes, and multiquote and news tip are still present. Also not seeing the attached image.

I'd just like to add that I've not been able to locate the attached image as mentioned in the OP. ;)

I have not used either, but then I'm a lurker more than a contributor. As with the others, I am not able to view any image to check out the new look. But even without it, I can say I'm sort of old school and find most changes on other sites that were meant to improve simply resulted in me visiting much less often.

I'm a noob on this forum and I really like it, Haven't used most of the features, but the changes look OK to me

Multi-quote is a nice feature that comes in handy on occasion, but news tip I think we can do without...

I may be missing something, but I don't see the "attached image"...?

I have never used the "new tip" button, but the multi-quote can come in handy at times, especially for those of us that are more likely to answer questions than ask them, even if I don't use it very often. I could easily live without it, but that's my 2?.

me either..

I can't see the attached image either, it might be my work blocking it, but usually it'll tell me if it is.

Me neither, can't see it.

I use multi-quotes all the time; news tips....not so much.

I do not see an attached image. I have never been able to make multi-quote work. If others are in that same boat, that might be why there's so little use.

Is this an appropriate use of multi-quote? :D

News tip can go away, I honestly didn't even notice it existed until reading it being mentioned here.

One thing that I do miss though is the way the forum hierarchy used to be displayed, circa two weeks ago. At the top of the thread/forum was the "directory structure" if you will, and it had a little image next to the current forum you were in. On the forums I frequent, I usually use that to refresh the forum.

I can really make do without, it just seemed a weird change at the time.

Hi there,

Please leave the Quotes button in. This is very useful when replying to messages that 50, 100+ pages. It's easy to do a quick quote and edit as necessary. It provides a reminder of what you're replying to on Page 120, when the original message was on page 1.

The Newstip - never used it.... that can probably go.I get 90% of my Android info from here.

BTW, great work on the site! One of the best out there.

Thanks.

I saw message from Administrator and I thought I had gotten in trouble! :p LOL I'm sure Cory would have emailed me though.

Anyways, I like change! However I DO use multiquote, more so on another Mobile Nations site, CrackBerry.com. I also use the tip button, BUT I can certainly live without it. I know how to submit tips via email, BUT the tips button is handy for attaching the thread with the tip, so the blogger has it handy. I can get used to copying the thread URL to an email, if no one else is using it.

One thing that confused me when I first came to AC was the Quote button being right next to the Quick Reply button. I would often confuse them, and hit Quick Reply, when I really wanted Quote. Isn't Quick Reply redundant anyways since the Quick Reply box is visible for signed in members? Or is it needed for member's who are not signed in? My though is we consider removing the Quick Reply button.
