Got the battery fix (116mb update) last week, this morning's is 101mb, so its different. No idea what it is yet!

Haven't noticed anything amazing with update. More security if anything.

I'm guessing the Sprint update also has the app optimization feature, under battery, also.

This is probably Samsung/Google's monthly security update. May include other enhancements at the same time. Sprint and Tmobile are first, so how long before AT&T and Verizon send it it out?

I got this update last night. I don't see any battery optimization features in the battery setting like I've seen on the T-Mobile post. I havn't really noticed anything new, for better or worse at all so far. .

The app optimization has been working well. These are my battery stats since a full charge after the update.

As people have already said here and elsewhere, Sprint didn't include the optimization, but does anyone have any experience with optimization being on and apps not having internet connectivity when your phone wakes up? I've had it happen pretty consistently with Telegram messenger and Kakao where turning the screen on after it's been off for a while Telegram tells me it's connecting for a good 30+ seconds and if I send a kakao message it will be sending for about the same time before I have a connection. Can someone on TMobile confirm if this is what the app optimizer does or if this is a separate issue? I suspect some of my messages aren't coming through until I wake up the phone.

It's like the network connection is shut down. I cleared cache, though I worry it might also have something to do with having Package Disabler Pro still blocking packages when I updated. I'm really not in the mood for another factory reset.
