New Tab S2 9.7 Getting Annoying Popup in video player

Hi guys I recently got a Galaxy Tab s2 - 9.7 - and am seeing constant annoying popups while watching movies in the video app. The pop-up keeps saying Mobile device to TV and when I click it it brings up the screen mirroring window even though I have screen mirroring currently turned off. Does anybody know of a way to stop this pop up from happening as it is very distracting while watching videos. I am attaching an example screenshot. Thanks for your input

I hadn't thought of it. I noticed this while test watching a video on my new toy. But I would like to know if there's a way to stop it in the default video player. If not, I'll likely use another Player app.
