First commerical (with the girl counting down "mississippis") was a teaser spot. It just said the name of the phone, but gave no other info.

Now this add continues the meme but shows pics and gives info about the device

Advertising pushes like this are carefully coordinated and planned. They try to bait you with the teaser spot to get you to beg for more, then they drop a more in-depth ad on your later right before (or at) release

This means we're getting very close

ya know, that new commercial gives the 800 256-4646 number at the end. that's the number to the vzw sales dept. if they put that on tv, they'd better be ready to sell thunderbolts.

Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, plain and simple. That ad was bought and paid for months ago, I'm sure they figure it's better to feed the hype then get nothing out of the ad by pulling it last-minute. When this ad was commissioned, they could not have possibly known of this delay.

Yea I saw it on espn around lunch and got pumped. I almost stopped at the vzw store on the way back to work to investigate some more but held myself back
