Just as the title says, I am currently testing the new ruu on my unrooted tbolt. I have yet to test if the video improvements have been fixed or not but it seems like i am getting better battery life with the exact same setup as I had before. Im at 6hr of use with some light gps and normal use today and im still at 65 percent.

Im also in a 4g area all of the time.

I have only been testing this for 2 days so I will continue to test it some more.

How is everyone else that has installed the new software doing?

I am rooted the GPS lock is instant but I can judge the battery life yet it is too early to tell

How do you install the new software?

or here
for the story & instructions & support

in a nutshell:
download the file, rename it, HBOOT, flash it

make sure you download the correct file--there are 2 different versions: 1 for root users, 1 for non-rooted users

important: this will wipe your phone. make sure you backup everything (apps, email, data) before doing it. any customization to your home screens will be lost :)
