Hope I am able to find a way to avoid all the unnecessary apps from ATT if I buy an unlocked phone. If I put the old SIM card in, will all of those apps autoload? Such a waste of space! Thanks for any hints.

If the phone is new, unlocked and not from att, no, all those apps shouldn't.
