Hello everyone, I've been a BlackBerry user for the past 5 years, my first and only smartphone, but I'm starting to lose faith. I have Sprint and I'm trying to decide between the GS4 and the HTC One. I'm kinda leaning toward the GS4. I have an upgrade coming up soon and with my decision to switch platforms I figured I'd hang out here and learn as much as I can to make the transition as smooth as possible. I'm looking forward to getting feedback from all the questions I'm sure to have. Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the forums!!

Be sure to stop by the S4 forums and ask any questions that you may have :)

Welcome to the forums!

Best thing to do is make a list of all the things you would like in a device and go with which one meets those needs. Both are very solid devices, but me I would pick the S4 for pretty much one reason. I like SD cards. If that makes no difference to you, the have fun playing with the devices in the store (my favorite part of an upgrade), but I would also suggest looking at an LG Optimus G.

Welcome to the forums! That is a really tough decision because both phones are awesome. You can read other's opinions of each phones and also read comparisons. Hopefully that would be able to help you make up your mind.

So I made my choice and decided to go with the GS3. Radio Shack was running a special and the price was right. $49.99 to upgrade. It should be here tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to getting it set up and playing with it over the weekend. I too like my SD card and that kind of pushed the One and Optimus G out of the picture, and at $50 the S3 was $150-$200 cheaper than the S4.

Welcome to the Forums! You have some great suggestions listed above on helping you make a decision. I can't stress enough that you need to use both devices, if possible, to make the best decision possible. If you can take a few trips to the Sprint store (or another carrier since these devices are pretty much the same minus the network) and use both. Hold it, use it, take notes on what you like about it and take some time to consider which is best for you.

Be sure to stop by and let us know what you decided on getting and share your thoughts.
