Just got a lg g6 after using an iPhone for about 4 years and loving it!

Few questions though:

1. My notifications for vibrate are never, I've turned it off in my message settings but for some reason when I open a group message or get a new group text message, my phone vibrates...how do I turn that off?

2. I have a pin to unlock my phone, do I always need to press the check mark after I enter my pin? It cant just auto unlock?

3. How can I adjust my brightness while my phone is locked? The quick toggles doesn't have the brightness bar.

4. Some of the web pages load weird. For example bleacher report, it lets me scroll to the sides of the webpage and its just white, anyway to change that so it'll crop out the empty spaces of web pages?

Thanks!

Without a G6 (I don't have one) the only question I can answer is #4 , and that's simple - it's up to the person who programmed the web page. Some pages are too wide in cellphones, some are too narrow, The difference is the competence of the web developer. Nothing you can do about it on your end. (If your web browser has a "fill the page" sort of setting, that may help, but if the page isn't interactive, even that won't change anything.)

1. There's a setting under the notifications menu that lets you lower vibration strength. Lowering those all to zero may do what you want.
2. I think you always have to press enter.
3. I don't see a brightness slider on my lock screen either.

1. I think settings>sound>vibration>sound with vibration {off} is what you are looking for.

Edit: Nope. I'm wrong again.

I do not use the built-in messaging app so this is just a guess, but are there separate notification settings for SMS vs MMS? Because group texts are sent/received as MMS.

If you choose to use the pin unlock you are stuck hitting the checkmark, because your pin can be anything LONGER than 4 digits. On the iphone it is exactly 4 digits so there is no need to do this. I prefer fingerprints of course.

As for web pages, what Rukbat says is most likely correct, although you may find different web browsers (there are lots of choices) to your liking.

3. I never noticed the lack of a brightness slider on the lock screen. There does not seem to be any way to add it.

Looks like you have to unlock the phone entirely to have the Brightness slider on the notification bar.
