New to Android, quick gmail delivery question

I just came from 3gs, BB curve before that to the X. I'm wondering how stable the delivery of gmail is with Android?

Every 2 weeks I had to re-add my gmail account to get it to push to the iphone. I hope thing are different here since Google is running the show.

you wont have that problem on an android phone. your gmail account is tied directly to your device
