New to M8 with a question

After a major catastrophe with my Droid Maxx, I'm making the move to the M8. I was wondering if this phone has any features like Assist on Moto for voice texting. It came in handy and worked like a charm and would like to know if the M8 has something similar.

I am not sure what that feature does, but I can tell you that I text only with voice. I think it works great. I typically start the text by selecting a favorite contact, and then I speak the text. But I am sure that I can also start a text with a voice command.

It gives the option to read incoming messages and then gives the option to reply & send...all by voice. I know I can send a voice text with google now, but it doesn't read/reply to them.

If you need Moto apps such as Assist/Display/Actions/etc.. Your only options are the Moto X or the Moto Droid Turbo

At no time did I say I need them, I was just wanting some input on any possible options as such with the M8. Thank you for your unappreciated sarcasm though.
