No, kernel comes after Rom install
U shouldn't copy or paste anything for BM, just set up your phone Rom so u can boot back to it from a slot

AOSP = android open source project....ie, CyanogenMod or CM7, Im running the latest nightly on slot 2 of BM. It's a small zip approx 100 mb and pretty much bloat free, runs great on BM. Or MIUI, if you havnt tried MIUI then prepare to be amazed. It runs great on BM also. And if you're flashing a file from recovery then go to recovery and choose install zip then navigate to the Rom you wanna install and hit ok, If you have to install a zip from hboot then it has to be named PC36IMG.zip I think (double check that file name) and just hold vol down and power up. It'll search for a file and just follow onscreen instructions. The PC36IMG.zip has to be on the root of the ad card for hboot to see it.

Also..I think there's a new hboot that rev won't work on. You have to go through HTC to root and it doesn't give you s off. Google hboot x.xx.xxxx root. Where x's are your version number.

IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, it claims that the power button and home button will do screenshots but it just shuts off the phone. I'll figure it out, I think.

Sweet! Nice work. For me, I hold power first then tap home.
