New to Samsung phones NFC Help needed

I recently switched to T-mobile for service. I got a Galaxy S3 . I want to use the NFC capabilities to pay for purchases. How do I do this, I came from a Droid Razr Maxx that did not have NFC.

Never really used that before, but I think that is where you need to set up Google Wallet.

T-Mobile is using Isis, Google Wallet will not work on the T-Mobile network, T-Mobile blocks it. Isis is still not available everywhere as yet. Just have to try it and see if it works.
