I'm a MS guy for the most part. I've been hoping for Windows break through since I bought my Samsung Focus years ago. I went from the Focus to an 800, to the 900, to the 920, to the 1520 (2 of them), to the 950XL. Each time thinking that MS was really making the effort. I sold my 950 yesterday and ordered the 7 edge. I guess someone can only put up with so much disappointment. Hopefully the phone will be here on Monday so that I can start figuring out Android.
Is there anything that I should be aware of when starting out. A whole new OS sounds a little intimidating.

Nothing much I guess, except that Android doesn't handle RAM like Windows, and it also doesn't handle SD cards the same way as Windows phones.

You can make android as simple or as complex as you want. I use my SD card for music and pictures as well. As you are setting up your phone feel free to come here to ask questions. You are getting a great phone but it will definitely be a new experience just because of all the options you will have compared to WP.
