New to This

Hello, all.

I got my Note 4 about 3 weeks ago. I've been an iOS user since i1. I got the Note 4 for the screen size and the S pen. It's amazing how that thing transposes my sloppy hand writing to text. Awesome.

Other than that, I'm not too impressed w/ android, but it's growing on me...plus I have a ton of questions.

Such as, how do you:
1. Set the time for auto updates (I'd rather not have it done during the day, sucking up bandwidth)
2. Fast scroll to top of web page or app
3. Open photo note from lock screen
4. Stop music from stopping when you take a pic (i don't need to hear the camera click while music is playing)
5. Have the phone automatically hang up when the other person hangs up first

Welcome to Android Central! I don't have a Note, so I can't answer all of those questions--but ...

For auto-updates, do you mean Google Play Store updating apps to the latest version, or do you mean apps syncing their data?

The fast scroll to the top of a webpage is not available on Android browsers or apps. You just have to scroll up. I suspect this might be an Apple patent, because no one has ever come up with this feature on Android.

Your phone should also hang up when the other person hangs up. If it isn't, then something is a bit glitchy.

Welcome to the forums!

1. As far as I am aware, you can't set times to update. You can have them set to update via WiFi.

4. Possibly notifications on mute? Otherwise, see if that has been addressed in the Note forums.
