On the thread page, I am wanting to know what the symbols mean to the left of the different threads. There is symbols in the left box, and what im really wanting to know what the symbols in the right box mean. Im starting to love the whole forum thing but I don't know much about it. Appreciate your help.

Hi df79transam! Glad to see you're integrating well into the forums.
That symbol in the right box (piece of paper, happy face, light bulb, etc) is chosen by the person posting in that thread, so it doesn't have any inherent meaning per se. Said poster can choose what icon they want by clicking the appropriate radio button underneath the text box when typing a post.
I'm going to move this thread into the Android Meta section, in case anyone else is looking for this information. If you have any more questions about the forum please feel free to ask there
