I think I see what's going on! It sounds like you're trying to keep this as a standalone plan. From my understanding, you would add this device to your existing unlimited wireless plan.
When I tested that on my account, it looked like this.
*Please note that my plan is under an employee code and may have different pricing. There's typically a $20 per month fee to add a line to unlimited data.
