New update and network speeds?

Heard the new update has a new radio in it. Is anyone getting improved network speeds of any sort? I would assume not since the issue is bogged down towers and not really a radio issue, but thought I would ask. Dont really feel like installing a stock recovery if I dont have to

i havent noticed anything big but i've noticed that I have 4G in places that i wouldn't have had before the update. I dont know if its just me or if the update really did something.

Lol well thats good for you, but I live in Ann Arbor and Sprint is the ONLY one without 4G here... Sigh

I live in Port Huron, Mi, we have 4g, but only down one street for lil over a mile on 24th street & Lapeer. It's weird, fast but weird. Wish I was one of those houses but live just out of range.

I wouldnt mind not having 4G if the 3G was anything above 600 consistently. I dont need the data is be super fast, I need it to be consistently decent. If I had over 1 mbps regularly I would be completely satisfied, but apparently thats a little much to ask...

When was this update? Because I remember there was an update around the 10th or so and I received that one and DL'ed it. Is this a totally new one, or are you guys talking about that one from about 2 weeks ago? Thanks!

I wouldnt mind not having 4G if the 3G was anything above 600 consistently. I dont need the data is be super fast, I need it to be consistently decent. If I had over 1 mbps regularly I would be completely satisfied, but apparently thats a little much to ask...

That is so true. I have hard time dealing with the horrible speeds.
Sprint is real close to losing my business. The customer service is getting bad right now. I would love to get reliable speeds.
