New Update Inbound

Well then they just hate US LTE users.
One issue in the US is that carriers have to test and approve updates prior to releasing. Only Apple and Google devices are immune from this due to licensing agreements. I can't guarantee that is what is happening but as a Verizon customer I have watched phone after phone get updated before mine (except my current phone).

I actually asked Verizon customer service and they said they have no control over it. But then again it could just be them blaming someone else

The store people do not know about it. Of course watches may not be the same as phones. And customer service really doesn't either. They have a seperate division that tests updates. I had a friend who was a manager of a store briefly. He wasn't supposed to admit it but he actually would get the updates in final testing phases a bit before the public. He could have been lying of course. Either way I know they do testing before releases.

It wasn't in the store it was online. But yeah. I usually find I know more about devices then they do

They don't love us, that's for damned sure.

I share your frustration but I'd rather they take the time to get it right. The Tizen 4.0 update for my Gear S3 destroyed my battery life, even though those with the BT-only watch did not experience such issues. The main advantage of the Galaxy Watch over the Gear S3 is remarkable battery life, and losing that would be a major pain point.

It's hard to get pictures of faces but here is another Facer face that's nice and clean with the new update.

Which Facer face is that?

LTE update this morning. ATT

Yes, checked and update for my TMobile, which is activated with Sprint, recieved at 0230 am. Little bit more, but not significant battery drain. No issues with S-Health for me.

I really like this update the visuals are great. Everything seems to pop out more. But more than that I went one a 4 mile walk yesterday and did my bowflex max trainer workout this morning and as far as I can tell didn't have one heartrate drop. For the 1st time since I got the watch it counted more steps then my phone. So that's great since my phone isn't always on me like the watch. And usually my wife's apple watch says it walked further then mine. I figured it was because of the bad step counter. But last night we were even till she stopped for water about 3 miles into the walk. So overall I'm extremely pleased with the update and I feel I can finally recommend the watch to people. Also my sleep was interesting. And I finally see I don't get nearly the amount of deep sleep as others but I got a lot of rem sleep so I guess there's that.
