New update landed. Downloading now.

Downloading also.. I think I may ha e accidentally been affected by a test a couple nights ago.

Give yourself a good firemen minutes to a half an hour to install the update. Your mileage may vary. It too me about 20 minutes.

Also mine did not connect to my phone automatically as the update said it would. I had to hit the connect button on the phone amp.. No big deal.

It will eventually but normally someone posts here or it hits a website review and I do it manually in the phone software.

I just bought the Galaxy Watch this past week. Does it alert you when you have an update?
Also there is a setting in the phone app to auto update the watch. I am not sure what triggers it but when I bought my watch there were two updates and the watch did them automatically the first day..

Don't really see any changes off hand, but haven't done much with it. It does seem to recognize when I tilt the watch to turn on the screen more easily. There would be times in the past where I'd tilt it to check the time but the screen doesn't turn on and I'd have to press a button. Now it seems to turn on much easier.

I think the tilt sensitivity has do do with watch faces also. I could be wrong but I noticed in the past some faces didn't want to turn on. It does seem easy on the face I am using. Bluetooth users should notice the most improvement according to the article. All changes were under the hood so to speak so it will take time before we get reports on what they mentioned like Bluetooth battery usage and heart rate tracking. I so no mention of step or sleep tracking so we will have to wait, though sleep tracking should improve if heart rate tracking improves (unless you turn off REM tracking). After limiting what I have installed step tracking has improved. One forum suggest that it doesn't track your first 20 steps (unless you have walking tracking turned on) by design.. It is how it decides to automatically turn on automatic tracking. I can't find confirmation of this. I sort of doubt this but who knows.

I need to take about 1000 steps of fairly fast paced walking before the walking step tracker kicks in. The current exercise count is displayed as about 1000 steps so it is clearly monitoring from the word go but doesn't consider you are exercising until a period of sustained activity occurs.

Thanks. I never actually tested it even looked at it. I got my watch around Christmas time so I won't be venturing out on my walks until weather improves. It did always seem to register casual steps but I never checked to see if it gets them all.. There are a ton of theories on step tracking on boards.

Wow, that would drive me nuts. Glad I've never had that one. I despise any sort of notification that isn't a call, text or email. I almost took my watch back because of all of the annoying notifications I didn't want.

Pretty simple to go to settings and set to no for the reminder to move, but yes I'll be setting to off again when I get the update. ;)

Nothing for me yet (in the UK). But here's what they are claiming:
