New update ruins smart things notification panel.

Just got a new update which replaces the smart things panel in the notification shade with a "Media and Devices" panel.

Where I used to get a little watch icon with "Galaxy Watch", a little earbud icon with "Galaxy Buds" or a little gamepad with "8Bitdo SF30 Pro" at the top of my notification shade when each device was connected, now it just says "Media" and "Devices"... Or it did til I disabled it.

It's possible I'm the only one that cares, but I'm annoyed and this is the best place to rant/vent lol.

Did you pull down notifications panel tap 3 bars and enable it?

Just updated my At&t GS10+ and my Smartthings panel looks like it did before. What version do you have?

It's an unlocked UK S10e, second update this month.

If you've got a carrier phone you're possibly just an update behind, or that they didn't let Samsung break a perfectly nice feature.

There's nothing to enable. As I said, it's been replaced. Check it out my god dude...

Make sure you open the Smartthings app and go into the settings and the Smartthings Panel is enabled.

Mines been like that how your screenshot is then when you press device smart things .

There's no setting in smart things to enable the panel anymore. At least not that i can find.

When I used to pull down the notification panel there was a slider for screen brightness. It's now no longer there and I have to pull it down again to show all the icons to get the brightness slider.

That's weird. The screen brightness is in the top of my shade and one swipe down shows it. No need to expand the shade. I also don't have all the same options within the 3 dots. But it also looks like fuzzy is running a duel Sim phone.

Found the problem. When the brightness control is visible click on arrow on right. There is a setting to always show on top of notifications and it was off. Turned it on and it's back to the way it was. Must have gotten turned off during the update.
