If that's the phone I think it is it's 5 years old, regardless of phone manufacturer it wouldn't have a new version of Android available.

If you're interested in a higher Android version, you'd have to root the phone and install a custom ROM -- the forums at XDA-Developers.com would be a good resource for that.
