New Update?

You may have already discussed this in other threads, but have you tried a factory reset? Back when my old Acer A500 was updated from Honeycomb to ICS, it often had weird bugs like random reboots. Once I bit the bullet and did the factory reset, it was super smooth and reliable.

It doesn't. Unless someone else logged into their Netflix account for you and since you didn't have the password, you couldn't watch it. Also wasting your time on fixing the random reboots. They will stay there.

I wonder if there is a hardware fault with your machine that causes these reboots?

Nope. Never did this on HC, ICS, or JB 4.1. As soon as I got the 4.2, it has been doing it. Not all devices will get this.

Yup, factory resets solved nada as well. Lame sauce.

As you can probably tell, I've been lucky not to have had a problem with random reboots. Could it be due to some app that was installed? What if you did a factory reset and didn't install any additonal apps, and then see if those random reboots continued to occur? If they didn't, then you could at least narrow it down to some app that isn't playing well with JB, rather than a hardware problem.

Tried that, didn't change the reboots for me. Though this patch in two+ days I've had one random reboot versus having 4 or 5 in the same time line.

Man, what a pain. Maybe things will settle down, and you'll find fewer and fewer reboots over time.

Yep, it seems to be a CPU issue, when it idles too low for too long it just crashes.

I'm really sorry I bought this TF300...you would think at the cost of it and the profit that ASUS makes they would fix their hardware and software bugs before updates and you wouldn't have to do a factory reset after every update.. it's a sad way to have to run a simple plug and play device...

At least they remembered to install the drivers this time on the tablet instead of making you jump hoops just so you can connect it to a PC.
