Moto G5 Plus did not receive the Dec security patch, it got the Nov security patch in some countries in Dec.
The G5S Plus received the Dec security patch.

Still on the August 1 patch in the UK, too (G5+). I get it that some markets are more important to Lenovo than others, but it's taking a really long time for some countries to catch up with Brazil and India.

Agree. Why even waste the time on that update? Especially since it doesn't have the main threats fix included (KRACK, etc). Might as well have just waited and pushed 8.0 with at least a January security patch. I still think they won't even push 8.0 to the g5+ but hopefully they keep their word.

I have not heard of Indian users receiving the Jan security update on G5 plus or G5 S Plus. I hope we get it here soon .
