New way of rooting 2.1 without RSD lite?

2.1 SP Recovery SBF - DroidMod I discovered this earlier. It's a different way to do it other then downgrading with RSD. All you do is flash this file with RSD which will give you SPRecovery and then you can install a custom ROM which will give you root access

that was the easiest thing i have ever done. everything went very smooth and now i am rooted

how do you like it? can you post pics at all so I can see what that ROM is like? I am running JRummy's Cyan Theme but I would like to explore other ROMs I just wish there was like a way to preview what they look like before installing them.

i've been searching for screen shots of that particular ROM but can't find any. I wish that ROM Manager would show screen shots of the ROM before you download it. Someone should tell Koush that
