I'm looking at it right now and it says 3.0.1

It say 3.1, but I'm thinking they mean 3.0.1.

It says 3.0.1 doesn't it? We already have that.

Anyways... I'm still waiting for the update to hit, but there's no way to force the Xoom to update. Anyone heard anything new?

Let's be optimistic and hope that they delayed it to bundle in an additional feature or two (SDcard support we can hope) instead of having to push out multiple updates

Maybe they want to give the up and coming competition in the tablet market a fair chance to also dominate the market, I mean why try and sell your product with all the features enabled when there will be so many others out there with enabled features and much cheaper when they eventually come to market.

They will all wait for 4g and a true working sd card. The sd card is on goggles end and if any other have it working its just a work around like was done with the XOOM already. If its a Verizon tab they are all waiting for Verizon.

I received an email from Motorola stating that the 4G LTE update is expected to be out sometime during Q2. The update will probably not include enabling the sd slot.

Well, my market area won't get 4G until Q3 or Q4, so no issue to me. Yes, it was promised and it will be delivered.

Having owned an IPad, I'm not planning on switching from the Xoom anytime soon. Not because I'm retired and on a fixed income, but because I'm happy with what I've got! If I need the speed before the upgrade, I'll just go to a hotspot like my library and use their fast WiFi.
