If such a feature would work with cameras, is there any reason you couldn't just plug in a regular flash drive?

PTP isn?t the same thing as ?mass storage device? capability I?m afraid.

It requires a camera that supports PTP and will not work just by plugging a card reader in.

It would seem that wifi models should get the update first. Everyone knows Verizon is ?thorough? with reviewing updates before letting them out.

I have the WiFi model and when i go to the settings-about tablet-system updates i get the message "your device is up to date!..."
My current Android version is 3.0.1 kernel 2.6.36.3 build # H.6.2-21.1300906654.

So its safe to say that the update hasn't been rolled out or the update is not for the WiFi.

I agree. I don't see an Official release date anywhere except in forum posts and articles pointing to forum posts. Nowhere on the VZW page does it say 4/28/2011.

Maybe it's an official word by Motorola? Who knows, no one on XDA has gotten it as well, so maybe it might be tomorrow or Motorola just made another promise they will not fulfill.

It looks like the update notification has been pulled off the Verizon site (around 2pm EDT). The ones with the links above (which were for HMJ07B) have been replaced with the one for HRI66. Any known reason?

That link is to a droid-life.com blog post. How is Droid-Life.com an Official source? It's not, it's a community blog. An Official source would be Motorola, Google, or VZW.

From what I've seen, my Xoom (WiFi) only seems to check for updates twice a day, around 4AM and 4PM. Settings/About/System Update will tell you when it was last checked, but I don't see any way to force a check.

I am seeing the same thing my next check is about 9PM tonight and I cannot find a way to force check either
