Newbie needs help please!

Just got my LG Vortex. Have a bunch of android apps downloaded. What do I need to install/run these on my phone? I am able to look at files when plugged in via USB. Any help will be so much appreciated. Thanks, Markus markusb111@yahoo.com

Is sideloading blocked on your phone, if so you can use this

if its not, you can transfer those files to the sdcard/or download them directly from your phone, then use astro file manager to install them
make sure you enable unknown sources if its an option
Settings>applications>check off unknown sources

The sideloader app allowed me to load the android apps on the Vortex. Hoping I can find an app to get rid of the useless preloaded crap and trial apps on there.
