Newbie Question

Hello everyone !!

I am the proud owner of the Rezound, and was wondering would someone please point me in the right direction for rooting my phone? Something really easy for someone who has never done this before, and does not really understand much about the process.
Basically, I would love to have the new ICS and would love to get rid of all of the bloat on the device.
I am really not sure how to do any of this.

Some pointers, and they will make sense after you get your research done

Read a ton, and pay attention to directions. I know that sounds stupid, but the right ups are all right, if something goes wrong, you didn't follow a direction.

It's easier to flash the latest leak up to ICS first, then do the HTC dev unlock, installing custom recovery, etc.

Use Amon Ra for your custom recovery. ClockworkMOD has problems (major) and the TWRP recovery, though easy and awesome to use, is kind of slow doing stuff.

Post your questions here.... other sites will make you feel small for being new and asking a question that has been answered even just one other time.
