newbie question

if i posted this in the wrong section i do apologize but i have a simple lil question . i recenelty rooted my evo , havent done much flashing yet but the sprint lovers room and fresh . i have titanium back up and ive already done a nandroid backup in recovery just incase .

i know titanium is used to back up apps and everything but if im suppose to wipe my phone before flashing , whats the point ??? if i wipe wont that erase the app from the phone ??? i just hate having to download back everything each time i want to try a new rom. i know if i use recovery that helps take me back to the original rom but i want to know if titanium works from rom to rom so i dont have to keep download apps over and over ???

Titanium backs the data to the SD card which isn't affected by flashing roms. You only need to re-install titanium to re-install your apps from the sd card and not the market.

Yup, titanium will backup all your apps and re-install them.
