Newbie- with a problem

hi

I have just joined the forum , hi you you all.

i have recently purchased an android tablet, but am having problems getting onto the google store to download apps.

I keep getting this message.

"Couldn't sign in. Can't establish a reliable connection to the server".

Can anyone help please/ this begining to get very frustrating.

I'm assuming you have a Google account. Since you just got the tablet.. try a factory reset on it. Then set up your Google account again. Ensure you have wifi or data enabled.

I would get a strong WiFi signal, and clear the cache on the Play Store app. To do so, hit Settings>Application Manager>swipe to the side to select all applications> scroll down to Google Play, and clear the cache. Wait a few seconds and open the app again. If that doesn't work, then try a reset.

How about this:
Go to settings, then apps. Go to all (you should see a list of all your apps.
Tap on Google Play services, and then Force Stop.
Then find Google Play Store and Force Stop that.
Then go to Google Services Framework and Force Stop that.
Finally, shut down your tablet and start it up.
As you force stop those apps, you might get a confirmation message. Go ahead tap OK.
