Next big phone after the SIII

Buy a Droid Razr Maxx for $199. Don't open it and put it on ebay. I did that with both my accounts. I just sold one for $550. Then buy the S3 at full price.

VERY INTERESTING... hadn't thought of that...

I could potentially do this and buy whatever phone I wanted down the line... I'd still be paying, like $200, $300 for full price on my own, but it's like I subsidized it myself... HMM...

iphone 5?
It better have a screen over 4 inches as 4.5 and above seem to
be the way to go now a days.
It better have more than just re-branded navigation with turn by turn
directions. Tom Tom/Google maps any one? LOL.
Eyes Free? This is suppose to be in car voice commands and innovative?
Hmm??? does the over 10 year old On-Star or over 5 year old SYNC
ring a bell?:p
It had better have a transporter along with the option to set
"Phazers to stun" or a flux capacitor to really be something.

LOL.

As far as Android goes, the S3 and HOX are likely to be the big phones of the summer. Expect the S3 to be a bit more popular, due to its universal availability. That may change, however, if VZW decides to bring on a HOX variant after the Incredible LTE comes out, as a direct successor to the Rezound. I don't see that as very likely, however.

Razr HD will likely be out this summer, but I wouldn't expect it to be nearly as big as the first Razr was, because of the S3. It'll be a great phone and very popular among Verizon customers, but its only for Verizon, at least at first, and won't be coming to other US carriers. With everyone expecting the Jellybean debut at Google IO, I'd imagine the next Nexus will be the next big thing internationally. Remains to be seen how and when Google implements their direct sales model, and whether this too will come to Verizon.

Keep in mind that phone enthusiasts such as ourselves are all pretty much aware of the policy change regarding unlimited data, and as such most all of us with upgrades are using them now for the S3. That means development should be huge, and most of us won't be buying something full retail for awhile now. So I couldn't say what is going to be the next device on Verizon that will be as popular among our community as the S3, but I'd guess nothing till the Nexus.
