Samsung has to design the next fold with cases in mind. Cases have been a real sore point with these great phones. Either added small ridges that cases can snap on to so we don't have to glue these damn things on and figure out and easier way for us to protect the hinges.

Glue them on? Oo what case are you using?! I've tried Samsung's own, Ringke's and a cheapo-whateverbrand from Amazon and they all snap pretty easily and stay in place. Sure, the hinge is left out in the open, but unless THE CASE expands (the Samsung ones get away with it by having that fabric pull-tab underneath for the ring holder), don't see how Sammy would design thinking of a case.

C'mon, who designs a phone with cases in mind. Let the case industry come up with ideas rather than Samsung come up with some pre-conceived notion of how a case should be.

I don't find the case selection so bad, but at the end of the day I'd rather just run with the phone with a skin on it..

Yeah...olive tech, but I work in the field a ton and caring something this nice with such so-so cases is scary. I've got the UAG. The hinge portion is scary. Looked at the Spigen but hear so many horror stories of the hinge protection with the spring causing more damage than good

Easy solution, no case at all!

I rocked this for awhile, but it was too slippery for me.

Plus opening it, a few times my nail hit the edge of the screen protector film, and I was afraid I'd eventually lift it up a bit.

Even a Spigen Air Skin gave me enough case "lip" to make it easier to open.

I ended up with a tank of a case with a hinge protector that also houses an SPen.

Though, I normally go for a naked phone as well, or minimalistic case for grip only. I usually hate case bulk... oddly I'm not now, but usually I hate it.

Spigen was a good case in my opinion. Fold 2 No issues at all with scratching.. though it's a little bulky, I felt it was comfortable enough and if I was working outside somewhere where I want protection, this would be my second option...

I don't think I'd want to go without a case for my Fold³.

Not just for some protection but also to add grip.

I've not been disappointed by the Aramid Case I've had on it since day 1.

I like the Samsung SPen case. I had the SView case on my Note 10+ and the case feels the same. I also like the SPen holder. I have used Note phones and tablets since 2013 and always take notes holding the device. I agree that it is a little bit of a pain that it sometimes opens up on my wireless charging stands, but that is easy to resolve.

I got that case with the free pre-order gift. I got it because it came with the Spen, so at very least I got a Spen. I hated that case with a passion, think I even threw it away. I am not much for a case with a front cover anyway, but the way the Spen was stored was cumbersome also. I'm glad it works for you, if I knew where mine was I would ship it to you. If I come across it, I'll hit you up if you're interested.

I went with the spiegen case with Spen holder, the one with no hinge protector. I was surprised that I like it with adding the bulk, but it works for the fold.

Thanks for the offer. Let me know if you find it. I guess the case works a lot like the SView flip cover case. I know many did not like the SView flip cover case, I have become accustomed to having a front cover. Also, I like folding back the front cover and makes it easier for me to hold the Fold. I wish the case had a window like the Sview flip cover case. I bought a leather case on Amazon thinking it would be better for protection. I did not like the size and returned the case.

Glad you liked your Spiegen, I have used their cases in the past and have liked them a lot. My watch band for my new Watch 4 is a Spiegen and is great.

Agreed, the Aramid case is nice. I originally had a Spigen Thin Fit and it was decent. The Aramid is nicer in my opinion, but also more expensive.

It is expensive.

I was fortunate to pick it up at half price due to the offer Samsung Uk were giving if i ordered a case at the same time as ordering the Fold³

Out of the 4 or 5 cases I have for this device. The Samsung Spen case is my go to hands down. I like having the spen holder but if I need the case to be more slim that holder slides right off.

This case was heavily criticized upon release but I'm glad I went with it. Yes it will pop open on my charging stand but to me that's a non issue.

Lately I've just been using the Samsung leather case with a magsafe adapter for the magsafe car charger. Other than that I can't stand how cases feel on this device it's best without any on.
