Hi,

I am on the hunt for a tablet for comics and internet.

The Nexus 10 was my first choice but I saw the Sony Xperia Tablet Z that have better colors and SD slot, also a a lot lighter.

Who have tested them both? Could Sony Z be the way for me? Or will the higher resolution in N10 be a big win when reading small text (like in comics?)

Maybe I should wait on the N10 2 generation, the problem is that it usually takes forever to get them to Sweden.

I do understand that most on this board will probably say Nexus 10 but pleas try to be objective.

I used the Xperia Tablet Z for a couple of months. Its a good tablet and its screen is quite nice @ 224ppi though not as sharp as the 299ppi of the Nexus 10. Its seriously thin and light and the build quality is quite high. I returned my Tablet Z to get the new Samsung Note 10.1 which is a great tablet too but may have more features than you need. However, its in the same price class as the Xperia Tablet Z.

The Note is about 585 EUR, the Sony is about 461 and the current Nexus 10(32GB) is 397 EUR.

I think that the Sony is already to expansive, so in my case its between the Nexus(maybe the new one) or the Sony Tablet Z.

Well, it may be best to wait until after Oct. 24th (Nexus event) and see if a new Nexus 10 is announced. The current one is good too, but the new device might be more horsepower and an even better screen for around the same money.
