Hi there. I'd like to ask if my experience with the nexus 4 battery is normal. My nexus 4 is running 4.2.2. The maximum screen life I can get out if it is 2 hours. All updates are turned off, and the screen brightness is turned right down. So 2 hrs on screen and 11 hours of the phone being on.

That sounds a bit low (2 hours), but it all depends on what you do with the phone. If you're constantly streaming movies/videos (what a TV is for), or constantly playing games (what a TV is for), then that sounds about right. Those 2 things really suck the juice out of any phone. These phones can work as multi media devices, but at the expense of your battery. I'm not implying that you shouldn't use your phone that way, only that it will drain your battery quickly. If you're not doing 1 of those 2 things, then you probably have an app that is not running well. A battery monitor should be able to point that out.

Ha, 3 days with one hour of screen use, or well over a day with 3 hours of screen time? That battery life is *really* good.

I just noticed my N4 battery life was damn horrible until I discovered the Facebook app was crashing and eating over 30% of the battery, which was almost dead even with the display usage.

Thank you, Facebook. lol

I downloaded a battery app last night. It shows that the biggest consumption by far is the screen. I checked wave lock, and it b is under 3%, so that seems normal. It doesn't show any app as being that hungry. But I will post screenshots soon.

I'm trying to run the n4 on WiFi a lot today and tomorrow to see if that makes a difference. Is it b really the case that if you have a weak mobile Internet signal that could be a reason for major battery drainage?
