Nexus 4: Is my root broken?

I rooted my nexus 4 all was good, until I noticed SU was gone reinstalled SU and now I can't update binaries. I used root checker and got this. I am running slim Kat Rom no issues, busy box and other root amps will not run.. Help please..

Strange; For some reason, yes, your root access is gone. Do you still have a custom recovery installed?

If you boot into twrp and reboot the phone from there does it ask if you want to install SU?

Just download the latest SuperSU zip file and flash in TWRP, that should clear it up.

It didn't ask me to install SU when I booted from twrp.

Some ROMs have root built-in and don't need an external binary. You generally see a SuperUser menu in settings. If you're using Chainfire's SU, there's an option in his menu structure to allow them to coexist.

Did you enable root for apps and adb in developer options? Many ROMs come with this disabled or ADB Root only enabled, you may need to manually enable it for root to work properly.
