You will probably get one in a day or two. My order went through at 5:57 CST (3:57 PST) and I just got the shipping/tracking email this morning. I noticed people who's orders went through an hour or so before mine were getting tracking emails yesterday.

Edit: I just turned into the biggest geek. I made sure to play this music as I took the top off the box and presented the phone to myself.

Woke up this morning to an email notification with UPS tracking info, which shows that my Nexus 4 is out for early delivery today! I was in the 4-5 week window, but that's because I ordered an 8 gig model, and the earliest window on it was 4-5 weeks. I'm not only getting mine earlier than that, it is basically being delivered in 24 hours from the original departure scan.

Not that this in any way excuse Google's colossal fail in both Play Store ordering and shipping, but I guess this does help soothe the experience a little.

I can't be the only one who will be clueless as hell to this procedure, so here's a link:

How to install the sim card in your Nexus 4

For some reason, no amount of googling led me to this, so I had to manually search google support. Anyways, there it is. It says for the Nexus 7, but upon looking on the left side of my phone, the same thing is there.

Edit: Be careful when you open the box to get the charger. There is a small plastic bag with the thing you'll need to insert the sim card. Don't lose it. It says you can use a paper clip, but you actually have to find one first lol

Guess I can't get a shipping refund lol.

I'm going to push hard for a shipping refund myself. I think that Google did an incredibly poor job here. I received a shipping notice on 11/30 and paid for 2nd day shipping. To my mind that means that I should have received my package by 12/3. Today is the 6th. On top of that, I was charged for the phone well before it actually shipped when my order receipt explicitly stated that I would not be charged until shipment. That's standard practice for just about any retailer I've ever ordered from.

Maybe I'm being a stickler and perhaps I should just be happy that my phone is arriving within the 1-2 week window, but dealing with Google's customer service and complete lack of transparency and organization has left me with a really bad taste in my mouth.

I would urge everyone who received the 11/30 notification and then spent a week in limbo to demand a refund on their shipping fees. Hitting them in the purse is just about the only sure fire way to have them make the significant changes that need to be made.
