Nexus 4 Price Drop: 8GB $199, 16GB $249

What the heck are you guys doing with your LTE phones. My nexus 4 pulls 12Mbits/s down. That is faster than most DSL lines. Most file download sources on the internet choke out at lower speeds on large files.

When you are on an unlimited data plan (and ATT hasn't throttle me yet), Whatever you please.

So tempted to have this for the latest Android updates. I currently use an HTC One on AT&T but having a cheap Nexus 4 to play with when KLP release would be cool.

In my head I am like, "I don't care about my Galaxy S4 after I got my Note 8.0". Sell my S4, by the Nexus 4, probably pocket a couple 100.

Hmmm should I sell my optimus g pro and get this even if I plan on getting nexus 5...I could make some profit on my g pro

This price drop just cut into the profits of people selling used Nexus 4's on Ebay and Craigslist, bigtime!
the same is true with any phone. in fact those phone have a big price cut. S3 is now around $300 which use to be $600+

3G is still acceptable, but I'd be increasingly hesitant to buy a mobile device without LTE support at this point. As more and more towers and spectrum are dedicated to LTE, the networks' 3G (including HSPA, no matter what T-Mobile calls it :P) footprint is only going to get relatively smaller. That makes me concerned about whether an HSPA device without LTE bought now will still be as viable in 18 months.

I get really fast speeds on my T Mobile account using HSPA, so who needs LTE, which isn't available in many places either.

Those of you that are just outside of that refund window should contact Google anyway, all they can say is no. I know I would. 100 bucks is a lot of money:)

Darn, there goes my resale value :(
I was hoping to recoup enough on my N4 to be able to get an N5/Moto this fall.

They just posted on Facebook that recent purchasers from Playstore have 15 days to ask for the $100 if you purchased on or after Aug 12, 2013.
