Hi all i am facing a signal strength issue after replacing the charging port.
Some how the charging port of my Nexus 4 is giving a problem so i went to a store and replace the charging port of phn. After that i am facing drastic signal strength issue. Before replacing the charging port at home my ph shows a signal strength of -70 dbm to -80dbm but after replacing the the port it showing the strength of -87 dbm to -107 dbm. i have observe that if the signal strength goes beyond the -92 dbm i am not able to call anyone or receive the call. Even i cant send the SMS.
Also in my office before replacing the port phone never get disconnected from network. But after replacing the port i am facing the no network in the office.
even i observe at my home it showing the network signal but when i check in setting>about phone> signal strength it shows out of service
i have to switch to airplane mode switch back to normal mode then the network get connected. Some times i have to manually search the network. And one thing i noticed before replacing the port when i am in no signal area i didnt get the exclamation ! mark symbol as shown in above pic but after replacing the part it is appeared when i am not in network.
any one have the solution for the issue i am facing
