If Google decides sell both at two different price points, which one will you get? Is the 1080p screen, OIS and improved internals worth the $100 premium? I might get the Nexus 4 just for the smaller size if nothing else. The leaked cases for the Nexus 5 seem to indicate that the 5 is a much larger phone.

buying the year old Nexus 4 over a Nexus 5 just to save a few inconsequential millimeters and a few inconsequential dollars would be asinine.

If Google decided to sell a LTE Nexus 4 for $250, I'd still go for the Nexus 5. From the not-quite-but-pretty-much-confirmed specs, it seems like the N5 will be an upgrade over the N4 in every single way.

(I don't see them keeping the Nexus 4 around though. It's too similar to the N5 for it to really serve a purpose.)

I have a Nexus 4 and a Nexus 5 Spigen Slim Armor case. The N5 definitely won't be "much larger"... Only a little bit taller.

I doubt, if they sell both at a time.

They're not going to sell a new N4, folks. That's just a silly assumption to make based on very slim evidence.

You know, I would like to believe you and I did believe this for a while, but there are brand new reports dating from yesterday! They are just rumors though and hopefully they will remain rumors.

Couldn't the Nexus 4's LTE certification allow Google to update the firmware to use the LTE already built in? I don't see them selling the Nexus 4 any more either.

I thought the N4, having the radio, was still missing "something" to make it full fledged LTE like the optimus

Well I don't know much about LTE, but I do know that there was a hack to activate LTE on the Nexus 4.
