I have had the N5 for 5 days. Everything was perfect until today.

Had BT setup since Friday, through my vehicle, could make/receive phone calls, and stream audio. All of a sudden today, BT works for phone, but not for audio.

BT connection on phone shows a pairing, and under settings, both "phone audio" and "media audio" are selected---like always. Tried deleting device from car BT, and then repaired it, no luck.

Suggestions?

Had similar problems with my old Blackberry phone, but could usually resume after a phone restart/reboot. Not sure how to do so on Nexus 5 without wiping data. HELP!!!!

You also removed the paired setting on the N5? You checked BT and media settings on car computer? (my Ford Sync gets messed up sometimes.) Not much help, here.

Hey, I was having loads of pairing problems too. My car would never automatically pair with the Nexus; I had to manually select it on the phone each time, even though it worked with lots of other phones. What finally worked was reinitializing the entire stero. Not just deleting the old bluetooth devices from the list in the stereo, actually resetting the whole stereo to factory defaults. Hope that helps you!

I have had quirky problems like this in the past, only a reboot solved. You don't have any other BT devices within 30' do you? A spare headset or something?

Ive been having a problem with bluetooth audio levels - the lowest possible level is still extremely loud - has anyone found a fix?

I have a new Nexus 5, 16 GB from Bell and the same problems with the Blue Tooth disconnecting yet shows its connected. Sometimes I'm able to reconnect after several attempts and sometimes I need to reboot the phone. There does not seem to be any consistency at all.

As well when I go to hang up on a call the red End Call Button is washed out and I'm not able to end the call. Again, no consistency.

The Icon to show that I have messages in my In Box on the phone side does not always illuminate itself when there are messages in the In Box. Again, no consistency.

I hate this phone with a Passion and wish I never would have bought it. Reminds of the Galaxy S that I bought new when it was introduced and ended up being a Brick.

This is the last time that I will ever buy a new release product. Trying to get answers and service has been a 4 hour run around this morning and still no answer. Buying any other item new with this kind of performance would be easy to fix.

Take it back, exchange it or get your money back. With these Phones, impossible if you used it more than 30 mins........................ ridiculous. It take longer than that to figure the phone out and identify the problem. We are still doing the R&D for these guys and we are paying for it.

There is one good thing, the Internet is smoking fast.

A lot of people (incl. myself) apparently are having a problem pairing their Nexus 5 with their car. Is google actually working on this? Please give us an update and/or an app that is guaranteed to work (have tried a couple, but nothing works for my Toyota Hilux).

Re: Nexus 5/Bluetooth Problem!!! Copyof large Photo folders is a problem.

I have a Nexus 5, 32 GB. My Mototorola headset was paired with my Iphone earlier. I too had problems with discovering my BT headset. I just did a factory reset of the headset. Amazing, it got paired with my Nexus 5. This google phone is amazing except for the large folders I tried to copy from laptop to Quickpic. Has anyone found a solution for copying large folders to Nexus 5. It never completes the last 20 or so seconds when copying. Here is the text I read to solve the Headset pairing.

How do I reset my head set to factory settings?

Restoring the headset to factory settings erases all pairing information stored in the headset. This is useful when you get a new phone that you would like to connect to the headset instead of the one you were formally using.

Restore to Factory Settings

Make sure your headset is on
Press and hold the Call button and both Volume buttons for 10 seconds until the status light is steadily lit in blue.

I am having the opposite problem voice command is very low and doesn't understand what I say try turning it up but it won't go louder my old phone worked fine
