Nexus 5: it is only possible to charge it when its off!

I cannot charge my phone when its on, I have to turn it off and plug it to get the battery charge?

Same problem here. Tried factory reset but this didn't fix the issue.

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried different cables/wall plugs? If so, the battery may be going bad.
