Nexus 5 notificaion,recent,home and swtich user option is disable in Marshmallow

[Android Central Question]

I have nexus 5 with android M and recently i just restart my phone by pressing power + vol up button. No new apps were installed on my phone and after restart my phone notification bar , recent app button, home button and switching user button not working at all. I tried different solution over internet but none working for me. I tried to download nova launcher but nothing is start downloading.

My nexus is able to run ADB commands and my is also rooted.

Please help in this issue , i dont want to do factory reset. Thanks

If your phone is rooted might want to talk to the developer what's wrong , but the way it looks is you either going do a factory reset or reinstall the stock firmware. Welcome to the forums. That sounds like the setup wizard bug that affected some devices running MM. If the Nova Activities workaround doesn't work for you try the steps included here.
