Nexus 5 Stuck on "ERASING"

Mine has been going for well over an hour, we had the red triangle at one stage too. What do I do if it doesn't fix?

For anyone who is trying this, mine came good at about the 1.5hr mark so don't despair. Unbelievable how long it took, I've done it before in 10 - 15 mins as others suggested. Perhaps a sign of how crappy it had gotten. Anyway just wanted to share that it worked OK.

Mine's been reading for about an hour now with the red triangle appearing half way through then back to erasing.......:-[

Well it sorted itself in one hour five minutes....it's packed and off to its new owner in the morning

try factory reseting your phone through the power button and volume down button.

I was afraid that my nexus got stuck at this "erasing" phase. but it took some 30 minutes to boot again.

Was stuck on "erasing" for 2 hours, then came back to life It didnt show the red triangle at all, only "erasing"

I have the same problem now....But I had only 3% juice left while erasing....Any chances of problems....It's still erasing..

Thanks a lot. Mine was also stuck for about an hour at the erasing scren. Plugged in the charger and it REBOOTED. Thought for a moment it will be stuck forever.
