Nexus 5x battery drain

[AC Question]

Hi!

I have a nexus 5x phone, with nougat 7.1.1. The battery charge goes down very quickly. I tried everything and to discard network issues for poor signal I putted the phone on airplane mode and during the night the battery went from 100% to 79%. I think this for sure abnormal.

Could be a hardware problem?

What do your battery usage stats indicate as the main users of charge after such a drain?

The only usage indicates "phone idle 1%"

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried a reboot or a cache clear in recovery?

I did the cache clear in recovery mode and a factory reset on recovery mode also. Again charge it up to 100%, then airplane mode during the night and this is the sittuation today

I'm running out of ideas!

Can you try installing gsam battery monitor? It gives a better look into what the apps and radios etc are doing.

Can you click on the app's tab? Also it seems to be getting held awake by something as it's not going to sleep.

Oh crud, you're not rooted. That shows more in the individual apps section.

Has battery optimization been setup for each app?

Have you gone through and checked permissions for each app? You can set whether they have the ability to keep awake etc in the apps.

What apps do you have installed? Certain ones like Facebook have been known to hang a device and cause serious drain (at least previously for me, hasn't recently).

I just did a factory reset so it doesn't have any app more than the ones that comes with the phone.

In battery optimization are only 3 apps with "battery optimization not available": Carrier provisioning service, carrier services and download manager. I can't change that option.

The same, 75% after the night. I disabled almost every application on the phone (including some system app)
