nexus 6 back cover unstuck

I decided to take the CSR advice. If the gap gets worse, call back, otherwise use the device and call before the one year warranty expires and have it exchange. My option then becomes two fold, sell it and buy another device or if the issue of back cover lifting has been addressed, keep it.

Part of we wanted to do what you are doing, but because they were so insistent on my returning the device I figured I'd just do it. Hate having to set everything up again, but I guess it isn't so bad. I just hope I'm not trading a small problem for potentially a bigger one. Really love the phone, just don't want any problems.

You made a good choice. I'll keep all my options open. I like the phone especially the screen size coming from an S4, Note 3 which I keep for backup

If you have both phone at the same time can you just not use Tap-n-Go.

I was going to sell my iPhone 6 plus for this phone but this problem has me worried. Is this affecting a lot of people? Why no recall?

I will say this, I ordered 2 Nexus 6 smartphones, one white and the other blue and both came to me absolutely perfect out of the box. I sold both.

Note in my house!

No problems here.

It is my humble opinion that when supply was low and demand was high, something along the assembly line got missed or overlooked and the right amount of glue was not applied at the right time which caused this concern.
Again, just my $.02

Mav.

I've had no issues with mine. I bought it in January.

Just picked one up today. Back cover looks stuck on very well, but I'll certainly be watching it.

Now just need to decide if I'm going to sell my Note 4, or return the Nexus 6 after putting it through its paces...

I just got two phones sealed in a box in a row with swollen battery. I made a video but cannot post the link yet.
