Hopefully the Nexus 6 will have better battery life than the Nexus 5. The Nexus 6 has a bigger battery (3220 mAh vs 2300 mAh), but it also has a bigger screen that may use more power. What are your expectations for the Nexus 6?

This is what the Google Play Store has to say about the Nexus 6:

More doing, less charging

Get up to 6 hours of use from only 15 minutes of charging.* With a large 3220 mAh battery, you get over 24 hours of use from a full charge.†

*Battery must be substantially depleted; charging rate slows as charging progresses. All battery life claims are approximate and based on an average mixed use profile developed and tested by Motorola that includes both usage and standby time. Actual battery performance will vary and depends on many factors including signal strength, network configuration, age of battery, operating temperature, features selected, device settings, and voice, data, and other application usage patterns.

I think with android L, the newer, less power hungry processor, it will have better battery life than the nexus 5. Not to mention the moto like features so that you don't always have to turn the screen on.
