Nexus 6: Complaints, bugs & gremlins thread.

I have the same problem as you do and I also have T-Mobile. I do feel that my service was good until recently and then it started just ringing once when I call someone and then even yesterday I wasn't receiving text messages until I restarted my phone. Have you gone to the store to see if they would have any idea on how to fix this problem?

I have At&t and I have the same problem. 5.1 fixed my random rebooting problem, but I lose signal frequently and it has troubles connecting to my home wifi.

Opened the box today, back of phone is open on one corner and half the edge, and wont close. sim slot wont open, there appears to be nothing for the tool to press. Discolored on base. As it is going back to Harvey Hormans I could not say how it operates.

I have a problem a lot of time my camera stop working.. And I have this message .I'm thinking go to Note 4 or another phone 6+

PHONE CALLS NOT GOING OUT, NOT COMING IN
So I jumped ship from Sprint to T-Mobile and in the process, got a new Nexus 6. I love the phone and it works great, except as a phone. Calls coming in go straight to voicemail. I got no ringing, and nothing shows up on the call log. I don't know someone has called me until a voicemail appears. When I try to dial out, it only succeeds 8 out of 10 times. I've tried it with the wifi on, with the wifi off. No difference. T-Mobile opened a network issue ticket. Said it was resolved. It wasn't. They've opened another. Waiting, but don't have high hopes. I'm still in 14 day grace period so I may return it. It also drops calls in areas listed as having great coverage on T-Mos maps. I've cleared the cache, rebooted, etc. Last T-Mo tech changed my cellular to 2G and calls worked fine, but that is NOT a long term issue.

Anyone else have this problem?
Any suggestions? Think I should bail on having this N6 on Tmo?
Thanks.

Same thing here. I'm not able to dial 611 or even T-Mobile's 1800 number! It just says call ended.
There has been a few times where I tried to call someone and it would ring once or twice before going silent. The other person was never notified of any calls.

This has only started happening with 5.1. I have to say that I am very disappointed with this release. Hopefully 5.1.2 fixes these issues...and SOON.

I have the same issue for some tine now.The wifi connection is grey out and wont turned on. I have tried everything from hard reset to safe mode to rebootibg router to changing the frequency to regular reboot .I have read all the forms and tried everything. But unfortently still doesnt work.It is very disappointing I have the phone for berly two month and it doesnt work properly. Wow!!! I think I would be taking that phone back to the store I bought it and ask for another one.

When I turn my screen off, videos keep playing. I called Google Support, and they pulled the "it's a feature not a bug" thing. I've talked to other people, and their videos pause when the screen is off. Is there any way to fix this?

Is it videos from youtube? My phone did that too, had to go into a youtube setting to change that. Youtube - Settings > Background and Offline.

Recently when playing media on ANY app the volume starts loud and instantly drops to almost 0 for no reason what so ever but pressing the volume rockers says its still 100% and doesn't effect it at all!?

Also media glitch.. Volume drops suddenly on random app audios.. Please help

My Nexus 6 did that as well but suddenly that symptom disappeared about a month ago. I did remove some apps that I was not using, not sure if that fixed it.

Re: Nexus 6: Complaints, bugs & gremlins thread.

I'm having problems with the battery life (shocker?). For the past few weeks, my phone has been powering off when the battery reaches ~25-30% capacity. The phone never goes into power-saving mode because I can't even reach 15%. I tried a factory reset, but the problem continues. When I plug my phone into a charger again and start it up, it usually reads 30% + Charging.

Any advice?

Last night I unplugged my phone when it was fully charged and set it aside. The phone shut down after 7 hours of non-use.Screenshot_2015-06-19-13-46-43.jpg

I think there could be something wrong with your charger. I'm not a geek nor have I had many phones; but the same thing happen to me.:-!

Been a long-time Nexus/Android (phone+tablet) supporter, and recommended the Motorola Droid to family members, unfortunately I've noticed some issues with Motorola policies since they've started producing the Nexus 6.

I received a Nexus phone in May and after 1 1/2 months the phone back cover started to come apart, exposing internal components to the external environment. After searching forums I noticed that this seemed to be a common manufacturing defect (Glue/battery issue) so I requested a replacement phone.

Motorola's response has been to replace the case and battery, which does not address my original concern about the internal components. They also provided inaccurate details on the repair sheet. I've gone back to them and they have not provided a new phone.

I preferred the LG Nexus devices anyway but this experience with Motorola support is enough to put me off Motorola and the Nexus phones.
