hey, got an n6 recently and still encrypted. some roms out there I believe have no forced encryption/decrypted rom. my question is if I flash one of these roms will I lose all my user data? also, is there a list anywhere of roms based on encryption? thanks

I may be mistaken but anytime you flash a ROM to your phone you loose all data and apps. You should always do a backup of anything that you do not want to loose. You may want to took at this article: how-disable-encryption-android-lollipop.
yes, I know about losing user apps and system data when flashing. what I meant was the sdcard partition, where all the photos, downloads, music, etc are stored. the thing is I would like to keep encryption, but I don't understand what happens when flashing a decrypted/no forced encryption rom over an encrypted one.

A recovery won't be able to access your SDCard since it is encrypted. You won't be able to flash a ROM.

but I'm encrypted now, have been since stock and I've flashed euphoria rom, rastapop and now pure shamu. encryption has persisted throughout

Sometimes, only part of the SDCard is encrypted. Maybe that's why you can still flash ROMs. Was your content still acessible?
