Hmm....for a battery that big, i'm disappointed. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the iphone 6 plus has better battery life when compared to the nexus 6? :/

It does and so does the Note 4. But the Note 4 and the Nexus 6 do charge way quicker to 100% then the iPhone 6/6+. In 15 minutes the Nexus 6 was charged from 5% battery to 50% or 60%. Both the Nexus 6 and the Note 4 take around 90 minutes to get to 100%

Did you have your screen set to a fixed brightness (and if so, what %), or to auto? It looks like your experience wasn't far from what a lot of the reviews have been indicating. The battery may not be extraordinary, but it should be sufficient to get the vast majority of users through a long day (16 hours in your case) without a boost - certainly better than the Nexus 5 has done, to date.

I had my screen brightness set sometimes at 25% or 50% and if I watched a video then at 100%. But I usually had the screen set at 25% or 50%, the phone never was on auto. I started charging my phone right after I posted those pics and it took the phone 15 minutes to get it from 5% to around 60% which is pretty impressive in my opinion.

Thanks - good to know. As to the charging, you were at the state of deep discharge that really lets the turbo charging shine. Of course, in the long run it's best not to let the phone drop that deep if you can avoid it, but good to know that when circumstances don't leave another option you can give it a strong 'second wind' pretty quickly.

Why not to let the battery drop to 5%? :/ Is it because it will affect the longevity of the battery?

That is correct. Ideally you want to operate your phone above 10-20%. There was a post (I can't find it) that explained Li+ polymer breaks down, especially near full discharge. That breakdown reduces the overall capacity of the battery.

Battery Univerisity gives a great description if you want to nerd out on battery life.
How to Prolong Lithium-based Batteries

I'm testing an iPhone 6 plus and here's first day with it. If the usage time is screen on time (i definitely was on it for many hours so it seems right) then that means I got almost double battery life as user above with his battery life results. :/

As a side note I had screen set to auto brightness. I left Wi-Fi on all day (but was connected to it once I got around 20%).

This is a thread for Nexus 6 screenshots. What does any of what you said have to do with the nexus 6

I notice that most shots [not just here, but other places too] have that white google band on all the home screens. Can that be taken off if I don't want it there. I believe ok google can still be launched without it by pulling up or swiping the screen to the right.

I'd like to know as well. If it can't I'll most likely stick with using Nova Launcher.
